Casado achieved greater representation at the national level a day after the party representative, Dario Nietoright hand man of the former president of Boca, will make the drastic decision to lower the heads of the PRO Provincial Electoral Board and postpone the election to next June 30.
In this way, Nieto enabled the list of the provincial senator Gabriel Pradines (Federal Proposal)after being banned in two instances for alleged irregularities in the endorsements to compete.
The determination of Nieto, the current Buenos Aires legislator, targeted the Casado sector with a harsh statement in which he objected to the actions of the previously designated authorities.

A day before, Macri’s right-hand man, Darío Nieto, changed the PRO authorities in Mendoza, close to Casado, and postponed the elections.
“The situation in which the Mendoza District finds itself, and in consideration of serious issues that were reported, including encountering actions not corresponding to neutral investiture that merits an Electoral Board, said causal issue being sufficient to delegitimize its impartiality in the electoral process (…) measures must be taken by this Intervention in order to fulfill its objective,” claimed the PRO intervener in Mendoza.
Furthermore, in the writing Nieto questioned: “That the rejection of the presentation of any listunder the argument of not meet requirements that are outside the current regulations and Organic Charter of the District party, previously established attacks constitutional rights. That political equality has been threatened with demands and requirements such as asking each of the candidates, all of them affiliated and therefore with the same rights, to issues that exceed the contemplated regulations (…) and that they do not allow to shed a halo of transparency nor institutional guarantees, having a close relationship with a concept very far from that of democracy”.
Casado will appeal the decision of the PRO in the Federal Justice
With the partisan setback to the PRO Provincial Electoral Board, the yellow list, headed by the vice governor, announced that they will return to the federal courts to appeal what was ordered by Nieto.
It is the second time that Casado took the issue to a federal judge for the alleged irregularities in the lists and Pablo Quirós resolved in the same way as requested by the national PRO.
The Provincial Electoral Board of the PRO had to review the lists again and last Friday reiterated its position of moving down to the competing sector.
