The musical duo Pimpinela is made up of Argentine brothers, Lucia Galan and Joaquin Galan. With family in Spain, they have always enjoyed a good fan base in our country. Now, fans are worried about the health of the Argentine singer, who has communicated her situation through social networks.

Lucia Galan has published a video on her Instagram profile, where she announced that she will undergo surgery: “Last year in Madrid, while having a CT scan, they miraculously discovered a pre-malignant cyst in the pancreas. A follow-up was done and the conclusion reached is that I have to go to surgery.”.

The Argentine admitted that it is a complicated procedure, and has explained part of the process. “They have to cut ‘the tail of the pancreas’, which is where the cyst is attached to the wall, to prevent cancer”he added in the text of his publication.

The artist also wanted to take advantage of her message to demonstrate her faith and gratitude to God, since the cyst was located before the situation became more complicated: “I thank God that they detected it in time and I want to ask the doctors to do these abdominal checks to prevent so many cases of pancreatic cancer.”
