Fluvial Inspection delivers new report on the level of the Guaviare River

Hugo Pinto, Fluvial inspector of San José del Guaviare, presented in Marandua Noticias a report on the behavior of the water level of the Guaviare River during the weekend, stating that the report is presented due to the growth of the Ariari River that continues to increase its channel and today the measurement in the Guaviare River is 9.49 meters. Pinto assures that since the previous Saturday this tributary is the one that has increased with the heavy rains in the Meta sector.

For now, there is calm in the increase in water levels, although the riparian areas continue to be flooded. Therefore, we are waiting for the decisions of the Risk Management Committee. Meanwhile, it is recommended that the families living in these rivers be very careful. Be careful and evacuate your homes in time.
