Around 5:00 pm, a Security Council was held in Tunja, where several cases of complaints and threats received by Mayor’s Office workers were known. Among the cases presented is that of Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, who worked in the legal office as a grade 7 specialized professional and was relocated to the coercive collection office.
“I was going to assume my position, but at 4:00 a.m.I received a call telling him about his mother’s location, her schedule and where she eats lunch, warning him to take good care of her. Faced with this situation, I decided to present my resignation from the mayor’s office for the safety of my family.” González pointed out through a video.

The Secretary of the Interior and Territorial Security, Ahiliz Rojas Rincón, reports that during the Security Council the problems that have been occurring within the municipal administration were exposed. At the moment, There are six cases with a complaint before the Prosecutor’s Office. Dr. Natalia, director of the Prosecutor’s Office, confirmed that there are a total of seven cases, of which five already have established complaints. The competent authorities have launched investigations immediately after learning of the allegations and are moving quickly to obtain results.
