The ministers Gustavo Fernández (of Production, Labor and Innovation) and Juan Pablo Perea (of Mining) they kept a meeting with Julio Glinternick Bitelli (Ambassador of Brazil) and Igor Goulart Teixeira (second secretary of the Embassy of Brazil).

The agenda was rich in which they talked about export possibilities of San Juan products to the neighboring country such as olive oil, olives and pistachio.

It is important to note that the Brazilian diplomat highlighted that “Argentina is the most natural destination for Brazilian capital investments” and that we have 200 years of good bilateral relations. In addition, they detailed the optimism that exists in the Brazilian private sector to invest in the new political-economic framework of our country.

“If we do things together, we both win” was the synthesis of the thought of the ambassador of the neighboring country.

Another topic of interest was the exchange of knowledge on technology and innovation and the possibilities that the CART radio telescope will offer.

Minister Gustavo Fernández valued the meeting with the Brazilian Ambassador: “We talked about the opportunities it offers San Juan to the world, especially to Brazil.

The province has export possibilities for products to the neighboring country such as olive oil, olives and pistachio.”

Regarding mining matters, Minister Perea highlighted the bullish cycle than copper and that the province has around 70 million tons. Likewise, there are 5 projects of the precious metal and, if activated, it would mean 1.5 of the GDP for the country.

Participating in the meeting, on behalf of the Ministry of Mining, were the secretaries Natañia Marchese (Technical) and Guillermo Olguín (Sustainable Mining Development); and the director Mariana Azcona (Sustainable Mining Development). Minister Fernández was accompanied by secretaries Miguel Moreno (of Agriculture, Livestock and Agroindustry), Alfredo Aciar (of Coordination for Economic Development) and Germán Von Euw (of Science, Technology and Innovation); the directors Martín Palisa (of the San Juan Investment Development Agency) and Adrián Alonso (of Foreign Trade) and Federica Mariconda (head of Advisors).
