For its part, the Ministry of Tourism will train the assigned personnel, replenish the necessary material in the airport’s ILO and provide advice for the attention of the tourist information offices of both municipalities.

In this sense, the mayor of Perico, Rolando Ficoseco, thanked the Ministry for the trust shown in the municipality and expressed that “the Tourist Information Office at the airport allows us to open a door to show all tourists our city.”

The mayor of El Carmen, Víctor González, pointed out that “this challenge that both we and Perico take on, of welcoming those who visit us and come to the province daily, fills us with pride to work and continue with the tourist growth that the province is having. province and especially in the Valleys region.”

Finally, prior to the signing of the agreement, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy Federico Posadas affirmed the commitment to work together and emphasized “we are in the largest and most beautiful airport in Northern Argentina. Jujuy has been the province that has grown the most in recent years as a result of joint work that has been carried out between the Province, municipalities and the private sector; Today the tourist chooses to come to Jujuy. The sustained work from here to future years will depend on the articulation that we can continue to maintain between the municipalities of the province and in this way that the private sector invests in the growth of Jujuy as a destination.”
