Through an operation, the Valledupar Metropolitan Police captured three people and seized firearms and ammunition in rural and urban areas of the municipality of Valledupar. The operation was carried out through ten search and seizure procedures in the neighborhoods of Los Fundadores, Altos de Pimienta, El Porvenir and the rural area via La Mesa.

Those captured were identified as: Gabriel Ledesma, 48 years old; Milton González, 51 years old, and Luis González, 30 years old, of Venezuelan nationality, who present notes for the crimes of illegal possession of weapons and hydrocarbons, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Two Pietro Beretta brand traumatic pistols, Cal 9 mm, a Glock brand Cal 9 mm pistol, a Smith & Wesson brand revolver, Cal 38, an Indumil brand shotgun, five cal 9 mm suppliers, 12 traumatic cartridges, 14 cal 9 mm cartridges were seized. , 6 38 caliber cartridges, 10 556 mm cal cartridges, a traumatic revolver.

“These captures affect the structurally focused criminal component of the Gulf Clan that commits crimes in the municipality,” reported Colonel Alex Durán, commander of the Valledupar Metropolitan Police.
