Governor (e) William Archila and the Secretary of Infrastructure, Leonardo Álvarez, toured several works that the Government of Boyacá executes in the province of Márquez where they verified significant progress in projects of great impact for the communities of this region of Boyacá.

One of the most significant road works is the Tibaná – Garagoa road corridor. In front of this corridor, the person in charge of Boyacá’s infrastructure assured that “the paving of 11 kilometers is planned. This project has an investment of close to 34,000 million pesos and will improve mobility and security conditions between the provinces of Márquez, Neira and Oriente (Valle de Tenza).”

Another of the works they supervised was the work of Puente Sisa, a project that is carried out on two fronts where work has been carried out on accelerated concrete, underpinning of the foundation, construction of abutments and fins. The work presents a progress of 50% in its execution, “we hope that in approximately two months, we can have this work fully enabled to guarantee safe passage between the provinces of Márquez and Neira,” indicated Álvarez.

An inspection of the work on the Úmbita – Villapinzón road was also carried out, a work that registers a progress of 10% and in which 6.2 billion pesos are invested, “this road section will have transversal drainage, sewage and paving works,” he explained. the Secretary of Infrastructure.

According to the guidelines of the president of the people of Boyacá, Carlos Andrés Amaya Rodríguez, it is to monitor the works and projects to correct what needs to be corrected and that the works are completed in the shortest time possible for the benefit of the communities.
