The former mayor of Ibagué, Andrés Hurtado continues to draw on the successful experiences of recognized leaders and regional authorities.

On this occasion, Hurtado spoke extensively with the governor of Valle del Cauca, Dilian Francisca Toro, who received him at her home.

“We greatly appreciate the deference and generosity in sharing with us your experiences as governor, senator and director of the Partido de la U and your entire political career. Treating her political allies well has been one of her successes,” Hurtado commented.

The U Party has great influence in Valle del Cauca and thanks to the leadership of Dilian Francisca Toro it has managed to consolidate itself as an important political force at the national level.

In Tolima, the U Party is led by former representative Jaime Armando Yepes, who in the last race supported the candidacy of Johana Aranda.

A few days ago, Hurtado met with the senator of the Democratic Center, Paloma Valencia, previously he had done so with the former presidential candidate Germán Vargas Lleras and continues to visit all corners of Tolima in his purpose of building a broad political alliance to strengthen his project of to be governor of Tolima.
