Today, starting at 8, a man from Buenos Aires will be charged with the crime of theft, a judicial procedure that will be carried out with the presence of the intervening criminal prosecutor and the acting Guarantee Court. The subject is accused of stealing necklaces from a jewelry store in the center of Salta capital.
Investigative sources consulted by El Tribuno indicated that on May 21, the owner of a business located at 100 España Street alerted and reported the theft of different items inside the jewelry store.
The woman said that on Tuesday, May 21, around 8:30, after entering her business like every day, she was surprised to realize that someone unknown had entered her business and committed a robbery. The victim pointed out that he or the thieves did not use violence to open the door.
What the woman reported as stolen were two necklaces, one made of rock crystal valued at around 12,000 pesos, and another made of black suede with a pendant, worth close to 20,000 pesos.
According to the investigations, when reviewing one of the security cameras you can see a man using a wire to insert it through a crack in the main door of the business and managed to enter and leave with the objects reported as stolen.
In a street situation
The woman owner of the business, in ratifying her complaint, added that the man accused of being the perpetrator of the robbery was recorded in the images of one of the cameras of the establishment, according to which he appears to be coming from Vicente López Street in the direction of Juramento.
The Police investigative group carried out different actions aimed at finding the whereabouts of the suspect. After recording and analyzing different security cameras, and after receiving approval from the acting Guarantee Court, they broke into various points where the subject used to wander, without the results being positive.
Added to the camera analysis was the interaction of the hounds with neighbors from different areas, in the center and macro-center of this capital, where they obtained valuable information in the production of evidence and when collecting elements for the delay and subsequent arrest of the thief. .
After the actions carried out by the Police investigators, it was determined that he is a homeless man, identified with the initials JLZ, residing in Buenos Aires.
The suspect, according to sources, was recorded hanging around the area of España and Vicente López streets, Zorrilla passage and Belgrano and Pueyrredón streets. He was arrested during the early hours of yesterday and will be charged today.
