The University of Nariño carries out an important effort to improve school infrastructure through the development of a fundamental project from which the educational community of the Liceo of the University of Nariño will benefit.

With an investment of close to $140 million pesos, the roof of the institution’s sports center will be built, as well as the repair of stands, dressing rooms and pavement, significantly improving the spaces.

The rector of the University of Nariño, Martha Sofía González, regarding the execution of this important project, announced that “the project will be delivered with designs in the month of September that will allow the development of sports activities.”

For his part, the director of the Lyceum of the University of Nariño, Germán Rosales, was very enthusiastic about the agreements established and the implementation that will benefit the entire student body of the school.

“Many of the cultural and sports activities that we have are carried out on the field, always subject to weather conditions, today with this initiation document, it is a quite important commitment that the current university administration assumes,” Rosales explained.

The teacher and board member of the Udenar High School, Álvaro Calvache, expressed that “all contributions to its physical plant are welcome, we look positively at this new project that will be of great help for the activities.”
