The player’s owner and an operator were accused for the death of a 7-year-old girl who fell from a mechanical bull during a celebration of birthday which was carried out in One-Eyed Deerin the province of Santa Fe. In addition, the premises were closed.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. at the Big Party location, which is located in Moreno at 1100, in One-Eyed Deer, and the owner and the person who drove the mechanical bull were charged with manslaughter for the incident. For its part, the Municipal Misdemeanor Court proceeded with the closure of the place.
The prosecutor in the case, Damián Casullo, commented that “the premises were enabled and there were all the protections that have to do with the attraction” and maintained that “under the bull there was an inflatable protection, precisely to cushion falls.”
In addition, it is suspected that there may have been recklessness on the part of the game operator. In this sense, the prosecutor stated that “it is moved manually with a joystick by a person who operates it. Depending on the type of game you want to play, you operate it in a different way: to make it rougher, less rough, softer, less soft, faster, less fast.”
The case
The unfortunate event occurred on Sunday afternoon in a party hall located at 1100 Moreno Street in the Santa Fe city of One-Eyed Deerwhere the little girl had attended a birthday party.
The girl was fired for this game and in the fall she hit her head severely, so she was rushed to the Dr. Gutiérrez Regional Hospital, although she would have already been admitted without vital signs.
Despite the efforts made by professionals, they were unable to reverse the condition. As indicated: “The 7-year-old girl entered the guard without vital signs, with a head injury.”
