The Attorney General’s Office of the State of San Luis Potosí (FGESLP), through Investigative Police assigned to the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Femicides, completed an arrest warrant for the crime of feminicide in ideal competition with the crime of aggravated feminicide against Israel “N ”, allegedly involved in the death of a woman and two girls, who lost their lives in a fire in Villa de Pozos.
According to the investigation carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office, the incident attributed to this subject occurred in the early morning of May 22, 2024 at a home located in the La Campiña Subdivision, belonging to the aforementioned Delegation.
At the site in question, after putting out the fire, two lifeless female bodies with burns were found, as well as a girl who was still alive and who was taken to a hospital, however, she lost her life that same night.
The fiscal agents and investigators assigned to this case dedicated themselves to carrying out the corresponding investigations to clarify the incident, carrying out joint inspections with experts specialized in Accidents and Explosives from the state of Jalisco, in order to establish the causes of the incident.
As a result of this work, which included expert reports and the collection of interviews, as well as other investigative acts, it was possible to identify the possible subject involved in this event.
After providing the necessary test data for the proper integration of the research folder, incorporating the gender perspective to obtain this order, it was possible to locate the whereabouts of the probable participant held in the Social Reintegration Center, located in the La Delegation.
