Crime that caused shock to a young businesswoman in Quindío would have been ordered by a woman: the first hypothesis appears

The murder of a 24-year-old woman inside a decoration warehouse in the municipality of Montenegro, Quindío, It has the inhabitants of the department dismayed. Even the President Gustavo Petrospoke out this Tuesday, June 4, and asked the director of the National Police, General William Salamanca, to do justice.

Initially, the murder of Angélica María Herrera Osma, recorded eight days ago, was a mystery for the authorities because the young woman had no problems with anyone, no extortion, nor threats against her life, as reported by the Quindío Police Commander, Colonel Luis Fernando Atuesta.

However, now the clues that the authorities are following indicate that the homicide would have been ordered by a woman and apparently, it would be an act of intolerance, according to what a source told this medium.

The authorities have already identified the two young people who committed the crime, one of them a minor.

The two men were recorded on videos from the sector’s security cameras. The images show when the motorcyclists reach the corner of the business and wait a few minutes until one of them enters the establishment and shoots the young woman repeatedly.

That night some of the hitmen’s clothing and even one of the helmets were found in the Alaska neighborhood of the municipality.

In the early hours of the next day, the BWS motorcycle was found in a local parking lot and the owner of this vehicle was also located.

The two young people would be at the service of a criminal gang that is dedicated to microtrafficking and hitmen in this town and they would have been convinced by another woman to end the life of Herrera Osma, who had graduated last year from the Social Work program at the University of Quindío and a few months ago had started his venture Celebrando Ando, where he finally died.

The Mayor’s Office of Montenegro had a reward of up to 10 million pesos for information about this homicide and the telephone line 313 772 2943 was established for this case.

“We are under investigation, information comes and goes, we are waiting for the reward to take effect. Due to President Petro’s pronouncement, they took action and asked police intelligence to take charge along with the CTI. This is not going to bring anyone back to life, but at least justice will be done,” said Mayor Gustavo Pava.

This Wednesday there will be a vigil at the University of Quindío to demand justice for the crime of the young graduate.

So far this year, in addition to the case of Angélica María Herrera Osma, two more homicides and one feminicide have been recorded in Montenegro.

The representative of Quindío, Jessica Obando, rejected the murder of the young woman, who was also her student in the Social Work program.

“The assassination of a woman, who was also a relative of a friend, a neighbor of my parents, of the house where I grew up, it is absurd that women cannot feel calm and safe, it is a call for all citizens. And an institutional framework that we have insisted on and made calls for today continues to be short and limited in actions against gender-based violence. She left a woman of only 24 years old, a social worker and deeply committed to her causes,” Obando said.
