DISARME! The Judicial Branch of Corrientes delivered 1,500 firearms for destruction
A commission from the Office of Seized Items of the Judicial Branch of Corrientes successfully sent and delivered a total of 1,500 firearms to the National Administration of Controlled Materials (ANMAC – EX RENAR). The activity was carried out at the exclusive initiative and responsibility of the Judicial Branch in order to comply with the National Weapons Law for its final destruction.

The activity was carried out at the exclusive initiative and responsibility of the Judicial Branch in order to comply with the National Weapons Law for its final destruction.
Last Thursday, May 30, a team from the Office of Kidnapped Items of the Judicial Branch of the province of Corrientes delivered a total of 1,500 firearms, composed of short and long weapons, to the National Bank of Controlled Materials (BANMAC) dependent of the National Administration of Controlled Materials (ANMAC – EX RENAR).
The operation carried out in the offices of this organization located in the town of Villa Maipú, San Martin Buenos Aires, was carried out by the weapons managers of the OES, Claudio Ramirez and Luciano Baez, accompanied by police agents.
This task is the final result of the confiscation of firearms from criminal courts throughout the province that are received by the Kidnapped Items Office and that reach their final destination for subsequent destruction in compliance with the National Weapons Law No. 25938. which provides that the weapons be sent to ANMAC.
From the OES, Dr. María Victoria López, highlighted the intervention carried out by the judicial agents and commented that “the personnel of the Judicial Branch of the province were congratulated by the national organization since the way in which they prepared the weapons, a better and more agile control of them”
