The areas to which you can apply correspond to Basic and Natural Sciences; Social Sciences; Humanities; Engineering and Technology; and Arts, Culture and Sports.

The DeLTA talent development program of the Universidad Católica del Norte (UCN) began its call for teachers to carry out courses and workshops for students from sixth grade to fourth grade in the city of Antofagasta.

DeLTA UCN is an after-school program that works with students who have been identified as having talented potential. Therefore, look for teachers who love the area they want to teach, use creativity and want to be part of a diverse educational community oriented to the development of skills. In addition, this program aims to enhance the professional development of teachers through training on the DeLTA educational model and skills for teaching with students.

In this regard, the person in charge of the DeLTA Academic Enrichment Unit, Gabriel Bravo, highlighted that “We seek to incorporate new teaching experiences into our program, expanding the areas of development for our students, which is key and relevant to their needs”.

The areas that can apply for courses and workshops are:

Cs. Basic and Natural (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, geology and ecology and environment).

Cs. Social (psychology, history, economics, anthropology and law).

Humanities (philosophy, language, journalism, communication and social responsibility).

Engineering and Technology (environment, chemical and metallurgical engineering, information technology, robotics and computing).

Arts, Culture and Sports (music, theater, painting, cinema, photography, sculpture, decoration, singing, dance, sports and chess, etc.).

The second semester begins on August 2 and those interested can apply for a course for Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and/or for Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
