A driver made a trip almost 200 kilometers with his 9-year-old daughter in the trunk of the car since, he assured, “he had nowhere to leave it.”
The route was from the province from Ojo Seco, Santiago del Estero, until Sinsacate, Cordovawhere the driver, 36 years old, traveled with four occupants, all of legal age, in the corresponding seats of a Citroën Xsara, reported The voice.
The man excused himself by stating that the minor was in the trunk of the vehicle because “he had nowhere to leave her.” The officers proceeded to transfer the driver and the girl to a police station.
“This minor is the daughter of the driver of the vehicle. Her father had decided to transport her there because she already all the available seats for passengers were occupied”said local police sources.
The little girl, who is in good health, was under temporary protection of the Secretariat of Children and Adolescents (Sinfef). For her part, her mother was contacted to be aware of the situation, and she expressed surprise at what had happened.
