The Association of Travel and Tourism Companies of La Rioja celebrated its 15th anniversary with the participation of authorities from the public and private sectors.
The AEVYT La Rioja (Association of Travel and Tourism Companies of La Rioja) unites and defends the
travel and tourism companies in the province of La Rioja, whose objectives are to promote and defend
the development of tourism activity promoting unity, work and corporate identity.
We are committed to the growth of Riojan society, promoting development
sustainable and sustainable tourism industry.
The Minister of Tourism and Culture, Gustavo Luna, participated in it and highlighted the importance of the activity carried out by the Association together with related organizations: “There is a growing sector, since it started with five members and today there are more. of fifty and almost forty registered companies. This clearly speaks to how tourism is made visible and how it generates hope and possibilities for people who love this work.”
On the other hand, he stated that “despite the paralysis of public works, everything slowed down but we moved forward and sought to go further with the development of paleotourism that crosses six departments. Kilometer 0 is already there, station four Tama is already with a construction progress of 80% and the one with the greatest challenge is Santo Domingo, where we will be able to proudly show the Laguna Brava Provincial Park.”
The president of AEVYT, Leopoldo “Poly” Badoul expressed: “The greatest success that the association of travel agencies has is showing the importance, this hierarchy that the travel agency generates in the destinations”
“La Rioja, the more travel agencies it has, the more possibility of tourism development and consolidation of the development it is having today,” he added.
“With this public-private articulation, we have many more tools for the crises that are coming. We are going to have to continue rowing it but we are going to continue on this virtuous path, fundamentally, based on institutionality.”
