In the town of Quimiliprovince of Santiago del Esteroan emotional wake was held in memory of Alejandra Gomeza 17-year-old student from Agrotechnical Collegewhose life was cut short in a tragic accident in the Route 92. Family, friends and schoolmates gathered to say their last goodbye to the young woman, remembered for her kindness and dedication.

The fateful incident occurred around 6 in the morning, when a bus transporting students from the Agrotechnical College was forced to stop on the road due to a mechanical failure. At that moment, about 10 students got out of the vehicle, only to be violently hit by a Toyota Hilux truck, whose driver, a resident of Chaco, could not notice the presence of the stopped group.

The police authorities reported the unfortunate event, which claimed the life of Alejandra Gómez and left other students injured. The minor’s mother expressed her pain and offered words of comfort to her daughter’s colleagues at this difficult time: “I give strength to her classmates; my daughter was a girl who worshiped God, she was respectful, studious, she has done many good things in life”.

The educational community and the entire local population united in the feeling of loss and offered their support to Alejandra Gómez’s family.
