The governor of Chubut, Ignacio “Nacho” Torres, revealed this Thursday before the National Government the arrival of a highly complex resonator to the Comodoro Rivadavia Regional Hospital. “We are taking the lead in efforts to guarantee a scheme that provides quality health to all Chubut residents,” he emphasized.

The equipment, which will arrive in Chubut once the necessary works for its commissioning are completed, was managed by the provincial leader himself and confirmed by the Minister of Health of the Nation, Mario Russo, in a meeting held on the morning of this Friday at the headquarters of the health portfolio, in Buenos Aires.

At the end of the meeting, which was also attended by the Secretary of Health of Chubut, Sergio Wisky; the Secretary of Health Quality of the Nation, Leonardo Busso; and the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Health, Ignacio Grosso; Torres valued the “joint work and the federal perspective” with the health organization, and celebrated the arrival of what will be the first resonator of the provincial public system.

“There are many steps we are taking in terms of health to digitize and integrate the province’s system,” remarked the head of the Chubut Executive, and indicated that “beyond having unblocked this management, we are also advancing in other programs that are to make the health matrix of the province of Chubut more efficient and of higher quality.”

New health scheme

Likewise, Torres pointed out that “when we took office we found a system that was very deteriorated, with a lack of infrastructure, investment, modernization and integration.”

The president highlighted the work carried out by the provincial Health Secretariat team “to be able to turn the page on so many years of apathy and propose a scheme that provides quality health to all Chubut residents.”

Technological leap

The Secretary of Health, Sergio Wisky, also referred to the terms of the meeting held this Thursday in the city of Buenos Aires, and indicated that it was “focused on the resonator and two more pieces of equipment for Comodoro that complement everything that is the diagnosis. by images.”

The official thanked the Chubut president “for taking charge of health management and prioritizing it, as he is also demonstrating in the budget.” In this framework, he pointed out that the incorporation of this equipment will allow “an important technological leap to be made for the care of our patients,” and explained that it will arrive in Chubut once the work on the transformer substation is completed, which will give it the necessary energy power to its operation.

The head of the provincial health portfolio stated that, in addition, “we put on the table what are the strategic axes of work that we are carrying out, the comprehensiveness that is key so that people are served in the same way in small and large towns.”
