An emergency call was received by the authorities around 10:00 this Thursday morning due to a multiple accident in Picaleña that left almost a dozen people injured.
The crash involved a tractor-trailer, a private car, two motorcycles and a public transportation bus. that ended up inside a commercial establishment.
“Unfortunately, nine people were injured, who are being treated in different healthcare centers,” said the Secretary of Mobility, Ricardo Rodríguez.
Among the injured is the bus driver and other people who were chatting in the bakery. For now, the people have been stabilized.
According to witnesses, the bus initially collided with a tractor-trailer and then rammed the other vehicles. that were parked in front of the bakery.
“I was having breakfast with my cousin and the bus almost hit us. We were on the outside. I told him: be careful! He threw himself back, I went in. The bus passed us very close, it almost ran over us,” said Johan Felipe Sánchez.
The authorities They don’t have a hypothesis yet. about the causes that caused the accident. While the vehicles are being lifted, traffic officers move intermittently in the area.
