Avianca announced that rwill activate six direct routes that will leave from Colombia to connect with USA.

The routes mentioned are:

  • From Cali to: New York and Miami.
  • From Cartagena to: New York and Miami.
  • From Pereira to: New York.
  • From Medellín to: Orlando

The routes will be available from this month of June and will be operated on A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers, which according to Avianca “will represent an offer of more than 11,000 seats each week on these six routes. Currently, Avianca customers have an offer of more than 140 routes, with more than 700 daily flights and more than 930,000 weekly seats that connect with 75 destinations in 25 countries in America and Europe.”

David Alemán, Avianca Sales Director for Colombia and South Americasaid: “we continue betting on Colombia as the connectivity hub of Latin America and part of that commitment has been to strengthen our point-to-point operation to provide more direct connectivity to the regions of Colombia while facilitating the arrival of more tourists to discover the country of beauty.
