In the greater San Miguel de Tucumán, 13 raids were carried out due to repeated robberies that occurred in the Yerba Buena area.

The Police seized in Tucumán 180 boxes of powdered milk belonging to the Ministry of Community Development of the province of Buenos Aires, five people were also arrested, six motorcycles, cell phones, firearms and replicas were seized.

At the beginning of the operation during the early morning, the second Chief of the Northern Regional Unit explained that a large deployment of personnel was carried out in order to obtain good results.

“We are complying with the judicial measure, where a large number of raids ordered by the Prosecutor’s Office for Robbery and Theft of the Fourth Nomination are carried out. This is an investigation carried out by the staff of the Yerba Buena Police Station under the charge of the main commissioner Hector Marin with the supervision of the zone chief Walter Colombres, working on a large deployment of teams from the Northern Infantry, CERO and personnel from the Police Stations of the Northern Regional Unit,” explained the chief commissioner. Sergio Juarezsecond head of the Northern Regional Unit.

For his part, the head of zone II, inspector inspector Walter Colombres, highlighted the work of everyone for several hours to be able to seize replicas and firearms and apprehend five men who have extensive criminal records.

“After the investigation, we carried out this raid in the southern area of ​​the Capital in a place that would function as a warehouse located on La Rioja and Diagonal Sur streets. Apparently the owner is dedicated to selling groceries, so in one corner of the room we found 180 boxes of powdered milk with a sign that says their sale is prohibited, since they belong to the Ministry of Community Development of Buenos Aires. In addition, we found expired merchandise, which is why we urgently informed the Complex Crimes Prosecutor’s Office, from where they ordered the seizure of the merchandise and the delay of the owner,” Colombres explained.

All the Divisions of the Northern Regional Unit took part in the operation with their teams, Infantry, CERO teams, members of all the Police Stations (El Corte, Yerba Buena, Trancas, San Pedro, Choromoro, El Cadillal, among others), personnel from the Yerba Buena Investigations Division and Motorized Patrol of that city.
