Man was captured in Bucaramanga for intimidating a woman with a knife and taking her cell phone

A man who was captured after robbing a woman with a knife in the Center of Bucaramanga is known as ‘Mata Diez’.

The Bucaramanga Metropolitan Police reported the arrest of a feared assailant known by the alias ‘Mata Diez’, 24 years old and of foreign nationality.

These events took place on Carrera 24 and Calle 30 in the Antonia Santos neighborhood, in the capital of Santander, where the accused intercepted a woman and proceeded to intimidate her with a knife.

After threats against her life, the woman had no choice but to hand over her high-end cell phone.

The theft was reported to the uniformed Police who immediately deployed actions to find the whereabouts of the alleged thief.

“Thanks to the timely information from the community and the reaction of the patrol, it was possible to intercept this criminal who moments before had intimidated him with a sharp weapon and robbed a citizen of her mobile device,” said May Milton Pachón, commander of the Centro Police station. .

The captured person was left at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office to answer for the crime of qualified and aggravated robbery.

“This person is accused by the community of committing criminal activities under the form of intimidation,” added the Police.

‘Mata Diez’ records judicial notes for the crimes of theft and trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics.
