The installation of a new LED light on the way to the third Cipolletti bridge began

This Thursday, the installation of 170 new LED lights began in the sector between the roundabout and the third bridge (Route 151 and Illia Ring Road), one of the main accesses to the city. The tasks will take between 20 and 30 days.

Mayor Rodrigo Buteler and the Secretary of State for Energy and Environment of Río Negro Andrea Confini were present.

Recently the Mayor and the governor of the province of Río Negro Alberto Wereltineck signed an agreement in which the Province transferred 170 LED lights to the municipality, provided by the Energy Secretariat of Río Negro, to provide lighting to one of the key entrances to Cipolletti that has been dark and unsafe for a long time.

“We are replacing the 170 LED lights that we have turned off for months, a long-standing demand from neighbors that we are fulfilling today. It will give us greater road safety throughout the region,” said Buteler.

On the other hand, Confini expressed: “We are sharing with Cipolletti the repositioning of the city and giving it value in the Alto Valle corridor.”

The roundabout and that road to the third bridge is also a very important road node for the metropolitan area that connects several cities in the Alto Valle with each other and allows the circulation of heavy transport towards Vaca Muerta. During these 5 months of management, solutions to energy and lighting problems have been prioritized.
