In the early hours of the morning last Friday, June 7, a bloody incident was recorded in a neighborhood in commune seven of the city of Ibagué.
According to official information, a man was the victim of an attack with a firearm in the Portales del Norte neighborhood. Two guys on a motorcycle, apparentlythey approached him while he was walking down a street, intercepted him and opened fire on him.

Diego Edixon Mora Muñoz, Commander of the Ibagué Metropolitan Police, reported that the citizen was shot in the head and left seriously injured on the pavement. The subject was taken to the Federico Lleras Acosta Hospital where moments after his admission he died.
Mora added that when carrying out the respective background check, this person reported having had investigations for theft and illegal restraint. “We ask the community in general and people who can provide information to clarify this fact, to contact 123, in order to obtain more information about it and bring those responsible to the competent authorities,” the commander finished.
