The situation is worrying for control bodies, parents and even for the students themselves, who must face physical abuse from teachers, without having the option of avoiding these practices, which were considered issues of the past. The unusual thing about the case is that in this capital it has already been possible to identify complaints from parents that have been raised to control and investigative entities so that they can find responsibility for the aforementioned events.
According to Natalia Rodríguez, Neiva’s secretary of education, I confirm that “up to my office and the person’s office, there are already formal complaints, which have led us to delve deeper into the issue. “This physically attacking a student is not among the rules or in the coexistence manual of each institution.”
In which communes of Neiva are these events recorded?
The formal complaints that have reached the internal control of the secretary and that the personhood is investigating, have been registered in commune six, eight and ten of the city. Some teachers have already been transferred from the headquarters and the due investigative process is being carried out.
The call to teachers and parents is to make known any irregularity that is occurring in educational institutions in the capital; this type of warning that goes against the physical integrity of the student community cannot be allowed to be given.
