AEMET CÓRDOBA WEATHER | May 40 is coming but… will we be able to take off our robes in Córdoba?

May 40 arrives and the popular saying says that it’s time to take off your tunic. However, the maximums in Córdoba capital and province continue below 30 degrees and refreshing minimums, something we are not entirely used to. In fact, the forecast points to maximums of 27 degrees and even the possibility of rain.

The prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for this Sunday, June 9, is cloudy skies, without ruling out scattered weak rainfall; opening clear in the afternoon. Temperatures with few changes, except for a slight decrease in the minimums in the northern third of the province. Light southwesterly winds, occasionally moderate in the afternoon.

Temperatures will be between 15º and 27º in Córdoba; in Lucena, between 14º and 25º; in Pozoblanco, between 12º and 25º, and in Priego de Córdoba, between 12º and 24º.

To start the week, Aemet hopes that intervals of cloudy skies, accompanied by occasional showersmore likely in the northern third of the province, where it is not ruled out that they will be locally strong and accompanied by storms. Temperatures in general with few changes, except in the northern third of the province where the minimums will rise slightly and the maximums will fall. Light winds from the west, occasionally moderate in the afternoon.

The thermometers will oscillate Cordova between 16º and 29º; in Lucena, between 15º and 24º; in Pozoblanco, between 14º and 24º, and in Priego from Córdoba, between 13º and 23º.
