Third generation of emblematic luxury sports sedan arrives in Chile: more connected and efficient

The latest generation of the Porsche Panamera arrives in Chile with new features in technology and comfort, as well as even more powerful powertrains. Elements that make it a truly unique and unmatched experience.

Among the many technological innovations are a suspension that combines a significantly higher level of comfort with sporty driving characteristics and the integration of the digital ecosystem that offers new ways to interact and personalize the model.

This new version retains the distinctive Porsche character. Its dimensions are 5,052 mm long, 1,937 mm wide and 1,423 mm high, measurements that when combined give it a renewed appearance to enhance its sporty character.

Details such as the additional air intake above the license plate and the redesigned window line reinforce its four-door sports sedan profile, while the outer edges of the rear window align perfectly with the contour of the body, creating fluid lines on the rear of the vehicle.

Greater E-Performance and renewed engines

The model offers four E-Hybrid propulsion systems, thus responding to the growing demand for this technology. All variants present improvements in performance, autonomy and efficiency.

The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid is equipped with a four-liter biturbo V8 engine, the power of the new electric motor is 140 kW (190 HP) and together they create a system power of 500 kW (680 HP). Total torque reaches an impressive 930 Nm. .

This model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 315 km/h. The battery has a capacity of 25.9 kWh, which provides an electric range of up to 91 kilometers according to the WLTP combined cycle, or between 83 and 93 km in the urban cycle.

Additionally, the new integrated 11 kW AC charger significantly reduces recharging time at suitable charging points, bringing it to just 2 hours and 39 minutes.

Comfort on long trips and agility on the track

The new Panamera is equipped with an advanced two-valve air suspension, including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). This technology significantly reduces the impacts of road imperfections, while ensuring greater stability in dynamic driving situations.

Additionally, the four-wheel steering option offers additional handling improvements.

The innovative active suspension is available for E-Hybrid models and outperforms other suspension system designs in key aspects, through a breadth of comfort and driving dynamics.

The basis for this is the newly released active shock absorbers, with two-valve technology, each connected to an electrically driven hydraulic pump. This generates volumetric flow in the shock absorber, as needed, and can generate forces between the body and wheels almost instantaneously.

If it is a smooth ride, the suspension keeps the Panamera’s body avoiding body roll, even during dynamic braking, steering and acceleration maneuvers, absorbing shocks almost completely.

Another detail is that when parked, the suspension system raises the body to facilitate comfortable entry and exit from the vehicle.

Renewed design

Inside, the Porsche Driver Experience concept strikes a balance between digital and analogue equipment, placing essential controls along the driver’s axis for an intuitive driving experience.

The shift lever is directly to the right of the steering wheel. The driver can also easily access the selector to choose the available driving modes (Normal, Sport and Sport Plus), as well as the assistance control.

To complement this experience, there is an optional 10.9-inch screen that allows the passenger to be part of this moment. This display provides vehicle performance data, access to the infotainment system, and video streaming capability, all while the vehicle is in motion.

Designed not to distract the driver, the passenger screen remains invisible from the driver’s seat, ensuring full attention on the road.

The Turbonite package, exclusive to the Turbo version, uses a special contrast finish on the side window stripes and the Turbo logo on the tailgate, as well as on the Porsche shield on the front hood, wheels and steering wheel.

In terms of digitalization and connectivity, the new Panamera will become an integral part of the driver’s digital ecosystem. Drivers can log in with their Porsche ID, by scanning a QR code located on the PCM, with their mobile phone.

In addition, assistance systems have been significantly improved, such as the active speed assistant, which now interacts with traffic sign recognition to stay within the appropriate limits.

Porsche InnoDrive includes adaptive cruise control and junction assist, while cornering assist and remote self-parking are new additions.

The Porsche Panamera 2024 is already in Chile, and its values are:
● Base Panamera: USD 146,900
● Panamera 4 E-Hybrid: USD 162,900
● Panamera 4S E-Hybrid: USD 176,900
● Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid: USD 213,900
