The new debate of the Law Bases in the Senate of the Nation is scheduled for tomorrow and among the 40 affirmative votes that the national government hopes to obtain are those that the three Córdoba senators will cast Luis Judge and Carmen Alvarez Rivero (both members of the PRO bloc chaired by the head of the Civic Front) and the Justicialist Alejandra Vigowho made some differences with the government initiative, but who would have already committed his affirmative vote in general.
With the provincial leaders, the central administration negotiated votes in exchange for the completion of a series of unfinished public works in each of the districts. In the case of Córdoba, the agreement involved the completion of a work dear to the governor’s affections Martin Llaryora: the conclusion of the highway to San Francisco.
In this regard, Llaryora would travel tomorrow to the city of Buenos Aires to sign the final agreement for the construction of the missing section of that highway, according to one of the ministers of the provincial cabinet.
In fact, Llaryora had sealed the agreement days ago with the Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francoswith whom he maintains an excellent bond.
In reality, the Governor was the only bridge that Córdoba had with the Casa Rosada when the former Menemist official occupied the Ministry of the Interior.
Another battle that the national ruling party seeks to win in the Senate is the approval of the specifications of two candidates for the Supreme Court of Justice sent by the president Javier Milei: Ariel Lijo and Manuel García Mansilla. In this case, Judge announced that his block will accompany the proposal, while Vigo explained his intention for a woman to occupy the position.
