Father Antonio María Cifuentes was born on December 5, 1940 in the municipality of Chaparral south of Tolima, throughout his 30 years in Social Pastoral and more than 50 in the priesthood, He was present in the lives of the parishioners in Villahermosa, Ambalema and Ibagué.

He was at the head of the Hogar de Paso and the Archdiocesan Food BankHe was also parish priest in the churches of San José de Porres, San Joaquín, San Cayetano and María Auxiliadora, which was his last parish.

His priestly education took place in the Minor Seminary of Ibagué, then at the Major Seminary of La Inmaculadathere he achieved the title of Priest, finally managing to obtain a master’s degree in Pastoral Theology from the Xaverian University.

In addition, he was an educator at the Minor Seminary, teaching the social doctrine of the Catholic Church, religious sociology at the Major Seminary and professor of epistemology at the Cooperative University.
