What the official press describes as “indiscipline” is really related to the blackouts in the country that interrupt the rest of Cuban children and families, and what leads to this school situation.
Another of the determining factors that affects children’s attendance at schools and that the Castro press does not mention is the shortage of food in the country, which is why many parents do not send their children, because some days they do not have food. to offer them and they do not want to expose the children to going to classes with weakness in their body.
The report carried out by Radio Camagüey, tries to blame the children’s representatives for this situation, making it appear that it is about “social indiscipline”, and among those it mentions, it also refers to the people who seek to earn a living by making sales through own account, but without legal permission.
“Likewise, state premises are reported to be illegally occupied without the action of the affected entities or the commission in charge of dealing with these disobediences to restore order,” says the Castro information.
Regarding the garbage in the streets of the province, the Castro press does not mention the lack of garbage collection trucks, but instead tries to hold Cubans responsible for leaving waste in “inappropriate” spaces.
Cubans continue to live in the midst of poverty and the abandonment of a regime that does not care about the living conditions of the people and that, despite the complaints of the communities, turns a blind eye to solving the problems that affect citizens. .
