Last days to register for the new ProMendoza export program: Government of Mendoza Press

This Friday, registration closes for Mendoza SMEs that want to be part of Ágil Nex, the new program developed by ProMendoza that seeks to get more firms to reach other parts of the world with their products or services.

It consists of a personalized professional consultancy, which ensures that in six months an SME makes concrete progress in its first steps to sell its goods or services abroad.

ProMendoza offers a shortlist of consultants to the company that begins with the program, so that it can choose the professional who will accompany it during its first steps and then continue with the support of ProMendoza technicians.

The requirements that SMEs must meet

Be micro, small or medium-sized goods and/or services companies with a productive establishment in Mendoza; that they have never exported or that they have done so sporadically; that have a product or service with export potential; that they do not owe provincial taxes; that demonstrate a firm commitment and explicit willingness to export; who have the financial capacity to cover the consultant’s fees, and who are willing to work under agile principles and values, actively collaborating with the consultant and ProMendoza.

Business registration deadline: Friday, June 14, at 11:59 p.m.

The stages of the process

Stage 1 (one month): Diagnosis and identification of barriers: the consultant and the company will identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and detail the barriers to export.

Stage 2 (two months): Design of the Internationalization Plan: a detailed plan will be designed including customs treatment, destination, product/service, price, channels and trade promotion activities.

Stage 3 (two months): Agile Implementation: An agile approach will be used to create a Minimum Viable Plan and test it in a reverse round drill or similar activity, adjusting the plan based on lessons learned.

Stage 4 (one month): Preparation of the Roadmap: the Internationalization Plan will be finalized with detailed actions, responsible parties and times for a first successful export operation.

Where to register: Interested companies can consult on ProMendoza’s social networks or on the site www.promendoza.com/es/agilnex/. Closes Friday, June 14.
