A violent fight involving teenagers in Lomas de Tafí ended with a minor arrested for having stolen a cell phone from another boy his age.

María Laura Heredia pointed out that on Sunday night there was a group of young people gathered in the neighborhood square, until suddenly another group arrived and, after a brief fight, they began to fight. “The neighbors came out scared to witness what was happening and when they saw that the chaos did not stop, they decided to call the police,” she said.

When the troops arrived, the teenagers quickly dispersed. A 15-year-old reported that after giving him a brutal beating, one of the attackers took his iPhone 15 cell phone. Due to the injuries he suffered, the victim had to be treated at the Tafí Viejo Polyclinic. Doctors reported that the minor ended up with blows and trauma to different parts of his face.

Persecution

The police went to look for the alleged perpetrator. The men of the Tafí Viejo Motorized Patrol, with the collaboration of the lookouts, detained him a few blocks from where the incident had occurred and kidnapped the bicycle on which he had intended to escape. Prosecutor Diego Hevia ordered that he be transferred to the Admission and Referral Center until the authorities define what to do with him. Due to his age, he is unimpeachable and cannot be accused of any crime, although a Children’s and Adolescents judge can impose rules of conduct.

Lomas de Tafí already has its new theme park “Miguel Lillo”

The residents of Lomas de Tafí were concerned about this act of violence. They said that there are two bars that have been fighting for several weeks. “We are tired of seeing them attack each other. The police come and they run away. They fight over a hat, a bicycle or a cell phone. “This is going to end badly,” said Juana de Cristofanelli.
