She falls asleep on a terrace in Logroño and her friends ‘play her’

Bachelor parties usually end with the protagonists exhausted, some with a headache and others with memory lapses in the most serious cases. What is less common is to end the event with a change of crew.

This is what happened to Alejandra Sainz de Rozas (@alesrlafita), a young woman who was recently on a bachelorette party in Logroño and who she herself uploaded to her social media profile. Her tiredness after a long day in Logroño provided the perfect opportunity for her friends to play a prank on her that has gone viral.

The protagonist of the story says that she fell asleep on a terrace in the Market Square after an exhausting bachelorette party in Logroño. When her friends noticed her, they wanted to have a laugh at her expense and to do so they teamed up with another group of young people. Seeing that she was sleeping soundly, they quietly got up and hid nearby. It was then that the other group of people, obviously strangers to the ‘sleeping’ young woman, settled down at the table that her friends had abandoned.

The protagonist’s disbelief is reflected on her face when, minutes later, she stretches in her chair and realizes, astonished, that she is with a group of people she doesn’t know at all. And things get worse when they make her see that she has to pay the entire bill, which amounted to more than 500 euros!

The story remained in the laughter and the joke that the ‘affected’ herself tells in the post: «I fell asleep on a destroyed terrace for a farewell. When I got up I was surrounded by unknown people and they had given me a bill for €500. They didn’t really know each other and they wanted to participate in the joke when I woke up. “My friends were hiding and the entire Logroño square and the restaurant were in cahoots.”

What neither the protagonist nor the material authors of the joke expected is that it would become viral, it has already exceeded 4 million views on TikTok and the post has more than 300,000 likes and more than 1,200 comments. And there are times when not everything that happens in Logroño stays in Logroño.
