Lawyer Fernando Burlando finally will not represent the parents of Loan Danilo Peña in the investigation into his disappearance. This was confirmed to TN this Monday afternoon. “It’s all very strange,” said the lawyer.
Burlando had planned to travel to Corrientes to join the complaint and said that the Justice Department “wasted a lot of time,” and that every second is key to finding the 5-year-old boy. However, one day after expressing his intention to represent Loan’s family, he explained the reason why he gave up. “I did not agree with the lawyers”revealed.

There are six defendants in the case investigating Loan’s disappearance. But the parents, María Noguera and José Peña, were left out of that list of suspects, in principle. A no less important fact is that both They have different lawyers.
On the one hand, Fabian Lucero represents the victim’s mother, while Loan’s father has as his lawyer Roberto Mendez. In this context, Burlando contacted them and decided to distance himself from the accusation.

Hours ago, in TN at Night, Burlando had expressed his desire to join the complaint to get to the truth. On Sunday, he had spoken with one of Loan’s brothers and “finalized details with colleagues” to travel to Corrientes and collaborate with the investigation.
“We cannot allow this to happen to any creature. It seems that we live in a reality of the past. Trafficking is no joke, it is something that exists not only in Argentina. The first thing is that we must understand that this is a sad reality,” he said.
And he closed with a strong message to the detainees for its contradiction. “It is proof that it compromises them. My recommendation is that you contribute something. Now the colleagues would have to aim the guns to generate a compromise situation. For me, they are an organization”.
