The captaincies of the ports of Guantánamo, and Casilda, in Sancti Spíritus, report on the discovery of the two vessels, and the way in which their owners can claim their rights.

The Department of Port Captaincies, of the Directorate of Border Guard Troops, of the Ministry of the Interior clarifies in its note that this procedure is provided for in article 214, paragraph c) of Decree No. 317, Regulation of Law No. 115 “Of the Maritime, Fluvial and Lake Navigation” of the Republic of Cuba.

The boat found in Guantánamo has the following characteristics: predominant color white and blue, length 8.00 meters, beam 2.40 meters, depth 0.78 meters, no identifying label, hull material fiberglass; It has two outboard motors, Yamaha brand, three cylinders, 75 HP each, without other information.

This medium, Yola type, was found on March 27, 2024, in the Baitiquirí area, municipality of San Antonio del Sur, province of Guantánamo.

Meanwhile, the boat found on March 29, 2024 in the Cayo Bretón area, municipality of Trinidad, province of Sancti Spíritus, also Yola type, has the following characteristics: predominant colors blue and gray, length 6.82 meters, beam 2.17 meters and 0.75 meter prop, with signs on the stern, which read: “El Fénix” 526-270CR, with another BPO10K21R1024-100; plastic hull material, without other identifying data.

Natural or legal persons with rights over the vessels found, interested in exercising them, must go, in the first case, to the Captaincy of the Port of Guantánamo, with legal address on Marina Norte street, municipality of Caimanera, province of Guantánamo, and in the second to the Captaincy of the Port of Casilda, with legal address located on Calle Real Final, Casilda, municipality of Trinidad, province of Sancti Spíritus.

It must be within a period that does not exceed thirty (30) calendar days, counted from the publication of this note, for which they must present the documentation that legally accredits the ownership or possession of the property found.
