They capture in Casanare the head of the criminal gang “Tren de Aragua” that spread terror in Bogotá and Soacha

The National Police reported the capture of Salomón Fernández Torres, alias “El Salomón”, one of the top leaders of the “Aragua Train”, who led criminal acts in Bogotá and the municipality of Soacha.

The capture of this dangerous criminal and one of the most wanted by the authorities took place in Aguazul, Casanare.

Alias ​​“El Salomón”, was commissioned by the top boss of that criminal organization, the fugitive alias “Niño Guerrero”, to lead this criminal group in Bogotá and Soacha, responsible for drug trafficking, homicides, extortions, kidnappings and forced disappearances.

In Bogotá, the ringleader focused his criminal actions mainly in the towns of Kennedy, Bosa, Chapinero, Ciudad Bolívar and Rafael Uribe Uribe, with monthly revenues that ranged between 2,000 and 3,000 million pesos.

To pressure the payment of extortionate fees, he ordered shooting and throwing explosive devices at establishments and even attacking the integrity of their owners.

During the investigation, authorities were able to prove his involvement in at least five homicides, which occurred between April and June of this year.

“El Salomón” had fled the capital of the Republic on May 30, after a raid in which 27 of his men fell.

Among the captured leaders of the area were aliases “Ratón”, “Caracas”, “Viejo Daniel”, “Yefferson”, “Mini Pepsi”, “Osmer”, “Masacre”, “Orlando”, “Manuel”, “Flay”, “Maicol”, “Yonaiker”, “Sanvicente”, “Oriana”, “Walner” and “Zancudo”.
