Córdoba presented its “Winter Tourist Season” in the City of Buenos Aires

This Wednesday, the province of Córdoba officially launched its 2024 Winter Season in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The presentation, led by the governor Martin Llaryoratook place at the Casa de Córdoba and was attended by important personalities from the tourist and political fields.

A video was shown highlighting winter tourism products. “Add Córdoba to your Winter” was the phrase to summarize the spirit of the presentation, inviting you to enjoy the numerous proposals that the province has to offer.

The vice president of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism participated, Fernando Gorbaranand the President of the Córdoba Tourism Agency, Darío Capitani.

Córdoba and the commitment to the tourism industry

Capitani highlighted on the occasion: “We are very committed to the development of the tourism industry, strengthening the sector in difficult times. We have high expectations for this winter. In the last two months we have managed to generate a significant economic impact in Córdoba, reaching 100 one billion pesos, with sporting and cultural events, which motivates us to continue growing.

During the presentation, the importance of June was highlighted, a month with two long weekends that anticipate a significant tourist movement. An example of recent success was the Rally Raid Desafío Ruta 40, which attracted numerous tourists and the schedule of events for the months of June and July also promises to attract thousands of visitors, with renowned shows such as DJ Hernán Cattáneo, La Renga , and children’s shows at Espacio Quality, among others.

Capitani also highlighted the various initiatives and benefits implemented to attract tourists during the winter season. “We have launched tools together with Bancor, such as the 4 interest-free installments and discounts on gastronomy and shops. We have a wide range of cultural, sporting, gastronomic events and mega events organized by private producers supported by the provincial government,” the official added.
