In Córdoba, various labor organizations and unions, including the Polo Obrero UPC Capital and the chemists’ union, gathered on Avenida Maipú 30 and marched in protest against a law that they consider “anti-worker.” The mobilization affected normal traffic in the city, especially on Colón and General Paz avenues.
The demonstration began in Maipú and continued along 27 de Abril Street, thus changing the usual route. The protesters passed through the Panal, with a police presence in the area.
It is estimated that there were between 200 and 250 meters of protesters present.
After the Panal, the protesters continued their path along Guzmán Boulevard. Later they went the wrong way along Olmos Avenue until they reached General Paz. Finally, they finished their tour in the Patio Olmos at approximately 6 or 6:30 p.m.
Emanuel Berardo of the Polo Obrero, in dialogue with Cadena 3, considered that this demonstration is a response to the government’s attempt to vote for a law that is harmful to workers. He also pointed out that “the great mobilization that took place with tens of thousands of workers since this morning in Buenos Aires” made the government retreat.

The notable presence of children and babies in the march was justified by Berardo: “7 out of every 10 kids in this country are hungry. They come to a mobilization because they have nowhere to leave them. They can’t eat less, they have to pay for a babysitter.”
During the afternoon, other groups such as the Polo Obrero, the Left, Unidad Piquetera, ATE, UEPC Capital and UTS also held a march in rejection of said law. The rally began at 4 p.m. from the UEPC headquarters, at Maipú 30, and ended in Patio Olmos.

During the morning, they registered complications due to a total cut on Rivadavia Street, between Rosario de Santa Fe and Av. Olmos. In addition, a group of people gathered in front of the headquarters of La Bancaria on this last artery.
There was also partial cuts at the intersections of Colón and Tucumán, as well as in Colón and General Paz.
Furthermore, it is blocked up Alvear Street and it was not possible to turn from Olmos to the right along this road.
