The toll rates on route 27, on the San José-Caldera route and branches, will receive an adjustment starting next Monday, June 17, due to the exchange rate. of the dollar.

This was reported by the company Globalvia, this Wednesday, through a statement and its social networks.

According to data from the concessionaire, the adjustment will be applied starting at midnight on Monday and, in the case of light vehicles, the increase is between 20 and 40 colones, depending on the toll.

Vehicle type

The modifications are set by vehicle type, being the following:

  • Type 1: motorcycles, light vehicles and light cargo with a maximum of 4 tires.
  • Type 2: minibuses, buses and minibuses with a capacity of more than 9 occupants.
  • Type 3: heavy trucks with 2 or 3 axles (full, suspended or not) from 4 to 6 tires on pavement.
  • Type 4: heavy trucks with 4 axles (full, suspended or not) from 6 to 8 tires on pavement.
  • Type 5: heavy trucks with 5 axles or more (full, suspended or not).

San Rafael: ¢640 (class 1), ¢1280 (class 2), ¢1600 (class 3), ¢2830 (class 4) and ¢4050 (class 5).

Atenas: ¢840 (class 1), ¢1690 (class 2), ¢2110 (class 3), ¢3730 (class 4) and ¢5350 (class 5).

Pozón: ¢640 (class 1), ¢1280 (class 2), ¢1600 (class 3), ¢2830 (class 4) and ¢4050 (class 5).

Tolls in Branches

Ciudad Colón: ¢210 (class 1), ¢420 (class 2), ¢530 (class 3), ¢930 (class 4) and ¢1340 (class 5).

Guácima: ¢480 (class 1), ¢950 (class 2), ¢1190 (class 3), ¢2110 (class 4) and ¢3020 (class 5).

Siquiars: ¢500 (class 1), ¢1000 (class 2), ¢1250 (class 3), ¢2200 (class 4) and ¢3160 (class 5).

Atenas Ramp: ¢420 (class 1), ¢840 (class 2), ¢1060 (class 3), ¢1870 (class 4) and ¢2670 (class 5).

Costanera Sur: ¢210 (class 1), ¢420 (class 2), ¢530 (class 3), ¢930 (class 4) and ¢1340 (class 5).
