The governor Alfredo Cornejo celebratedon their social networks, the approval of the Bases Law. He did so citing a statement from the President’s Office, where they highlighted that the President will summon provincial leaders to establish 10 refoundational policies “to give back the future to the Argentines.”

In the early hours of this Wednesday, the senators approved the project that the national Executive sent to establish “the starting points” for the future of Argentines, after 11 hours of debate. The result was 37 affirmative votes and 36 negative votes.after the tiebreaker of Vice President Victoria Villarruel.

In that context, Cornejo celebrated the approval and described the norm as “a key tool for the National Government to implement its action plan“.

In addition, he congratulated “all the legislators of our political space (UCR), especially to the people of Mendoza, for their work to achieve this positive result“.
