The government of Colombia will provide medical and humanitarian aid to Palestinian children and their families who have been victims of the conflict in Gaza with Israel, as announced by Elizabeth Taylor Jay, the deputy minister of Multilateral Affairs, from Sweden.

In the midst of President Petro’s visit to this country, the official stated that “with the spirit of diplomacy for life in all its forms and also attending to our policy of total peace” and for the “expertise that Colombia developed throughout this time in the previous conflict and persistent conflicts” will provide help to these children who will travel with their families to be rehabilitated at the Military Hospital.

There is still no official information on how many minors the country will welcome, nor their arrival date.
