Tunja, June 13, 2024. (UACP). The Accidental Youth Commission of the Congress of the Republic leads the national process for the reform of the Youth Citizenship Statute, which is why it requests the members of the subsystem in the different territories of the country to provide significant input.

This effort seeks to ensure that the voices and needs of young people in all corners of Colombia are considered and heard in this crucial reform for the country.

In this context, the Government of Boyacá, together with the Secretariat of Government and Communal Action, the Youth Directorate, the counselors and platforms, announce that next Sunday, June 16, at 2:00 in the afternoon, will hold a virtual meeting with young people from the department of Boyacá, with the aim of collecting inputs that will enrich the reform process of the Youth Citizenship Statute with local and regional perspectives.

The Youth Directorate is committed to supporting and guiding young people in these participatory processes.

“We will continue to work hand in hand with them to ensure that their concerns and proposals are heard and addressed, promoting an environment where their voice has a real impact on the policies that affect their lives,” they indicated from that direction.
