Evopoli’s candidate for mayor of Valparaíso, Jaime Morales, makes a strong call to the rest of the candidates to internationalize the visions and ideas for the development of Valparaíso, with tourism being the first engine of economic development that will allow progress in matters such as security , order and urbanism.
«We have a macro economic vision, but we can perfectly improve more quickly with national and international experience, especially with other cities that have similar characteristics to those of Valparaíso and that have already experienced processes of change and improvements in the comprehensive development of their communities. ».
In the middle of his tour of Argentina, the best evaluated in EPCH digital surveys, where Morales participated in the 25th Meeting of Argentine Tourist Municipalities, organized by the Argentine Federal Tourism Network, for his commercial links and his VITT project «Valparaíso, Innovation, Technology and Tourism”, he emphasized that “we must be able to be at the level of urban planning and capacity to care for our heritage as Buenos Aires, Argentina, Arequipa and Barranco are, the latter two in Peru.”
In addition to the meeting, the Evopoli candidate attended various work sessions on security matters. «I was with exponents from Medellín, Colombia and in the Province of Tigre in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where personally in the city I learned about the notable technological advance in this matter, which led the latter municipality to overcome its security problems and enhance tourism based on order and cleanliness, which are fundamental pillars for our “Valparaíso Primero” Plan. That is why once again I call on all candidates to have this vision, always safeguarding the traditional, heritage and deepest aspects of Valparaíso,” he concluded.
