Contingent and academic topics, research, culture and current events, will include the 2024 version of the “UCN Encounters” program cycle, a space for analysis and conversation that the Universidad Católica del Norte (UCN) will open to the community through its digital platforms. .
The third season of the space will be broadcast through YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Spotify of Comunicaciones UCN, including in its first chapter the song “Lama Glama ¡Soy la Llama”. The podcast, which will be broadcast on Thursday, June 27, at 6:00 p.m., will have as a guest the academic of the Institute of Archaeological Research and Museum (IIAM), Dr. Lautaro Núñez Atencio, prominent researcher, 2002 National History Prize and Doctor Honoris Causa from the UCN.
On the occasion, the impact and content of the scientific dissemination book on the life of camelids in the Atacama Desert, “Lama Glama ¡Soy La llama!”, will be addressed, a work that, with an intercultural perspective and a transdisciplinary approach, strengthens the scientific knowledge of children and adolescents on the subject. The conversation space will be hosted by journalist Romina Carpanetti, coordinator of Scientific Extension at IIAM-UCN.
“UCN Meetings” is developed by Comunicaciones UCN as an instance of citizen information with a broad, open and pluralistic spirit.
