The musician visited The Eighth Note to chat with Andrea Viñuela, Martín Cartellone and Nachi Hernández about the only show they will give in Santa Fe as part of a national tour, which will take them for the first time to perform at the Teatro de Flores, “the house of Divididos.”

Andino remembered what the days of recording “Alas” were like, when he was barely over 20 years old, with the production of Martín Carrizo, and the meetings with Gustavo Cerati, who was then recording the album “Bocanada”, with the participation of Carrizo.

“Alas” was released by the international record label Sony Music, “for a band from Santa Fe to sign with a company like this was unthinkable,” Andino recalled. “Alas marked a stage in Argentine alternative music, a new genre was emerging and this album represented a youth that walked the streets in search of answers, chasing dreams, not letting themselves be defeated by a country that was on fire,” the networks recall. band officers.

With the album Alas, Cabezones began to have national and international significance, and they came to play with great exponents of the genre worldwide: Marilyn Manson, System of a Down, Evanescence, Queens of the Stone Age, Stone Temple Pilots, POD, etc. . In 2001 his album Alas was released in Mexico and the band lived for a year in Mexican lands, also touring other Latin American countries.

This Saturday, June 15 at the Provincial Cultural Center, the band from Santa Fe will review this album and the “Classics” of their entire career, playing for the public that saw them grow and develop artistically, supporting them from the beginning, filling every place, buying their albums , taking Cabezones to the top of the national scene.

After this only presentation in Santa Fe, the band will travel to Buenos Aires to perform on the legendary stage of the Flores theater, for the first time in their own show, a situation that has them oscillating between nerves, anxiety and happiness. César maintained that he is present in all stages of the production of that show, including the design of the merchandising.

Finally, Andino related with emotion how the call for the Cabezones shows is increasing: “In times of crisis, art is necessary,” he said, and advanced a project that could take them to the Old Continent for the first time.
