Quevedo, THE RIVERS
Two men traveling on a motorcycle were attacked in the San José Sur sector, in the El Guayacán parish, in Quevedo, Los Ríos province.
In this event, Bryan Quinteros, about 25 years old, was murdered a few meters from a Fire Department station.
According to witnesses, Quinteros was traveling on a motorcycle with a friend and in his desire to escape from his executioners, he accelerated the speed of the motorcycle they were driving until hitting a tree in the avenue’s flower bed.

Quinteros ran to save his life, but he was overtaken by the assassins who shot him to death. Meanwhile, his companion was injured and was taken to a hospital.
Relatives of the deceased said that he lived in the Juan de Dios Zárate sector of the 24 de Mayo parish and that they did not know the reasons why he was moving in the San José sector.

Hours before, in the Mocache canton, the Police were alerted of another violent incident. In that area, Gerardo Ramírez Herrera, apparently, was murdered for stealing his motorcycle.. (YO)
