Last Tuesday, at 1:25 pm, an attempted armed robbery was recorded at the Bancolombia banking correspondent, located on the second floor of the Lol Panches shopping center, known as “TAVOCORP MULTISERVICES.” Thanks to the quick reaction of the staff, the criminals were unable to achieve their objective, thus avoiding a possible tragedy and economic loss.
The incident occurred when two armed men broke into the establishment, threatening the staff and customers present. According to witnesses, the subjects acted aggressively, but the immediate alert and timely intervention of the banking correspondent’s staff frustrated their plans. The criminals were forced to flee without taking any loot, upon realizing the arrival of the authorities.
To help identify the criminals, the videos captured by the shopping center’s security cameras have been shared. The images clearly show the suspects and their actions inside the banking correspondent. The National Police has requested the collaboration of the community to identify and capture those responsible for the attempted robbery. Anyone who recognizes the individuals in the recordings is asked to immediately contact authorities.
The authorities have intensified surveillance in the area to guarantee the safety of citizens and prevent future robbery attempts. The community has been urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, thus contributing to maintaining peace and security in the area.
