The Internship Program allows students in their final year of high school to have access to their first work experience. In the current school year, it is expected to offer the experience to 50% of the enrollment of the last year.
Alta Gracia was the first city to implement the initiative that is already being replicated in other locations.
Internships offer students the opportunity to put what they are learning into practice in a real-world environment, official information indicates.
He adds that “each student who participates in these practices manages to integrate significant learning, with the characteristics of work environments.”
He points out that “it brings into play capabilities and skills that are promoted from the different curricular spaces that the young person takes in the secondary school they attend.”
For his part, the head of the educational portfolio, Horacio Ferreyra, highlighted that “this type of programs bring young people closer to the productive, commercial and cultural sector of each city. “Today we are launching one of the programs that aims to connect education and work, through the implementation of educational internships and professional practices.”
